Hash Trash for Run No. 1287 - 18 March 2005

Hello Hasher  ,

Last week we remained "normal" and wisely decided to postpone the weekend hash to Tartous, and go just to Seidnaya. There we had a great walk amongst dead sheep and the smell of fresh dung, while the runners had a great view from the Monastery overlooking the city.

Fuzzy Duck and Morning After received their 10-run cap, Rafi & Co. received their 250th Hash T-shirt, and Mama Marijn received her 100th Hash T-shirt.

We also down-downed 9 virgins! But the biggest event was for our youngest member, Maartje, who also got a down-down - mother and daughter in this case being identical - and a jumper.

Food and drinks were consumed, the latest gossip was exchanged, photos of the Wadi Rum Hash (a giant success, well done Hashmites!) were shown, and the Gringo hashers came and disappeared unnoticed!

All in all, another day well worth getting out of bed for, especially if, on the way back home, you suddenly find yourself on the road to Baghdad...

As for this week, we will have a live hash .

Meet and greet as of 12 pm at the car park of the Al-Jalaa Hotel, leaving at 12.30 pm, in-sha'-allah.

Food, beer, & drinks will be provided...HOWEVER...

During the whole month of April, we will be having a BBQ after the hash, so bring your own meat; that's 5 Fridays in a row.

Our first April Hash will be volcanic, so stay tuned for next week's info and clear your Friday appointments.
