For those who haven't heard already, Littlejohn, Horse's Arse and Bum Deal were in a nasty car accident last Friday on their way to prepare for haring the run at Shahba. Littlejohn came off worst with two hairline fractures in his shoulder and Bum Deal (who was not wearing a seat belt!!!) suffered some bruising from being bounced around inside the car. The car is reported to be a 'write off'. Apparently Horse's Arse suffered an injury to his sunglasses, ouch!
The latest report is that Littlejohn is up and about, and wandering the streets because it is painful for him to lie down. It is also painful for him to laugh (so don't send him any jokes - HA, yeah, right ). I haven't heard how Bum Deal is progressing but I understand Horse's Arse just can't make up his mind which new sunglasses to buy.
Thanks go to Paul and Rafi for stepping in at short notice to lay a 'replacement' trail out past Lake Zarzar. Hopefully, Littlejohn will be able and willing to hare the 'The Hauran Hash' he planned for last week at some time in the future.
