An impressive number of hashers (considering the time of year) turned out for a very scenic hash through the snow above Telfita. The "default" hare, Paul, set a demanding but enjoyable trail, and then chose to not run part of it as he could smell the hot wine from the last check. Rafi led the walkers on what was also reported to be a good route. A couple of intrepid hash virgins had their first down down, followed by punishments for a number of miscellaneous criminals including Mahdi, Paul, Rafi, Alex, and finally Huzar, who was sung the Banglestein for keeping us waiting at Al Jalaa (a cumulative punishment). Hot soup accompanied the hot wine, a real fire was again lit, and the hashers amused an ever growing group of passing Syrian onlookers from their roadside circle. On on 2 fishes.
