Wise Pranker (Paul) and Sawsau were our hares last Friday for a leisurely run and walk near Al Drej. There was some snow on the ground but it was warm in the sunshine and no excuse not to be wearing shorts and t-shirt, at least until the sun disappeared behind the clouds!!!
Littlejohn was our RA and he was also the proud recipient of a 50 runs jacket. Down downs were awarded to new comer Karen and to welcome backs 'Morning After' (Ken), Leila and Madik. A down down was also given to Rowdy for staying in bed until 12:30 and being late to the hash after a late (or early morning) session at Dominos. The Baalbaki family were similarly punished for arriving late, after the pack had set off on the run/walk.
The hares provided a warming fire and hot wine again after the run - the wine seems to get better each week as the recipe evolves (or as our taste buds die ). The food was also excellent - meat and potato stew served in bread rolls.
