Hash Trash for Run No. 1368 - 15 September 2006

Run report on run 1358 or about that number:

Well, the GM asked a teacher to do a hash trash....that makes sense as all teachers are great writers; well that was quite the assumption to assume that a math teacher has any ability in the transcription. Well here goes a report from a newbee.

We started meeting at the normal location at the Al Jalaa hotel at 3:45 and left about 4pm in the direction of Lebanon. The motley athletic crew kept going, and a couple of us were worried as we did not have our passports, but it was ok as we made the normal turn to the right towards the hills. It was a location that sounded good as it has the same name as that crap wonderful amber liquid Barada Springs which is bound to be how they make the fresh beer that we all down down enjoy. As we headed there we passed a village with lots of chickens, as a man coming from Asia, this caused a lot of excitement. I saw lots of soft tender thighs, breasts, hot.....Right were was I ....right the run report; sorry. We were continuing to a lovely place with lots of fruit tries. A couple of hashers thought that they could steal have a quite bite to eat before the run, which is why we have a reputation of "lack of graces."

Well the walkers went one way and the runners went the other. Can't really comment as yours truly went with the fast walkers runners. We went to the right and then we hit a check. Rafi was a front runner as he went to check out a possible route and he found the correct trail and the horny horn was sounded and we followed the sound and the trail as it went upward. One confused visitor got lost and Rafi (so kind) went to find him after we waited for what seemed a long time. We then started to climb run on the trail. The path went up and up and up, did I mention that the trail went up?. And we were treated to a beautiful view of the valley. At that point there is a law of physics that says what goes up must....I forgot what that was; must be too much beer. Oh yea.,,,,go down. And down we went.

Spilt blood happened to a bunch of us poor bastards runners as we slipped our way back down to the beer. We could smell it and boy it tasted good in our minds.....What can I say we made it back and noticed the walkers weren't there. Did they get lost again or did they stop for tea in the local tea shop? Did they find a wonderful souq to go shopping? Not really sure, but one hasher did seem to bring some fancy gift back to his beautiful wife; what a kind man.....

The circle: Yours truly didn't know he was doing this, so didn't take any notes. I do recall a couple of down downs and a couple of folks cooling off by sitting standing over ice, but in my beer enhanced state it is all a bit fuzzy. Not to mention that this is being written about 10 minutes before heading to the hotel for the next run.
