It was a small but select group that turned out for the last hash of 2006 on a sunny but chilly December afternoon.
Our hare was Wise Pranker who laid an excellent trail in what 'White Trashed' would probably describe as the 'Lowlands of Telfita'. The hash started out as a fast walk/slow run as there was only one hare and more walkers than runners (as usual!). However, a few decided to run a bit after the second check, including the hare, 'just to keep warm'.
We were treated to mulled wine (vin chaud, gluwine) and a delicious spicy lentil soup, a local delicacy I was informed, on our return from the run.
No circle but plenty of beers and softies.
If there had been a circle, there would probably have been down downs for:
- Wise Pranker for haring
- SCB's Omar Sharif and Mamoun who were too intent in their conversation to notice they were not on paint and by-passed the end of the trail
- welcome back Loude
- new boot Khalil, a friend of Loude's
The informalities over and bellies full of food and drink, the hashers dispersed to their respective on on on's.
