A bright, sunny day in Saidnaya, and in fact in most (if not all) of Syria for run 1387. Luckily we missed the rain by a day. A sterling turnout of 8 runners and about the same number of walkers. For the second week running the trail was set by the Prankers (Mr & Mrs Wise). No rabid sheep this week, though a couple of the walkers had dog trouble instead. We managed to get the hill over with at the beginning, though it was a pretty big one. Paul seemed to have learned his lesson from last week and used a bit more paint but still had trouble laying it in a straight line, for which he duly received a down down.
Back at the circle down downs went to the Hares, virgin Snow White (Arlene) here visiting husband Richard, returner Neil whose excuse for not hashing in ages ("I got married") was viewed as rather feeble. For crimes against the Hash down downs went to Karen, for being an over enthusiastic FRB (for all of 30 seconds), Wise Pranker (see above), Neil & Richard for more talking than running, Arlene & Karen for sticking too close to the Hare rather than looking for the trail, Marmoun for something I've forgotten, the 2 Marmoun juniors for scaring the dogs on the walk (or vice versa) and someone whose name I don't know for leaving the circle and phone sex (at the same time!).
